How long can I safely store milk in Ceres Chill without refrigeration?
24 hours! AND you have the option to use ice OR freeze the OG+ Inner Chamber beforehand. Having choices like that provides ultimate flexibility.
Can I pump directly into the Ceres Chill?
Yes! I created this Chiller as a pumping mom, so I tried to think of everything - including parts that allow you to connect your pump parts or bottle parts to them. Narrow neck parts are native, and wide neck parts need a simple adapter.
This leads to fewer containers to wash, fewer transfers, and way less to think about!
What should fit in my bag for pumping on the go?
The Chiller is the size of a standard thermos, and the Demi is about half that - so both should fit in any standard bag! Bring your pump and some pump cleaning wipes or a washbasin, and you’re good to go for the day.
How does Ceres Chill help during travel or long outings?
In all the ways! It removes the stress of wondering what to do with your milk while you’re traveling and trying to enjoy yourself! The Chiller lets you pump, store and keep moving. No extra big bag to carry and no cutting plans short because your ice packs melted.
Is Ceres Chill worth it for shorter trips and errands?
Definitely. Even for short outings, it gives you peace of mind. You don’t need to rush home, skip a pump or worry about the safety of your milk. For me, it’s not about how long or short the trip is - it’s about the freedom it brings me, wherever I am and for however long!
Is Ceres Chill helpful for WFH or overnight pumping routines?
10000%! We have so many stay-at-home moms who use it for MOTN pumps, when running errands, when their baby is with a caretaker, or when they’re traveling. It’s also great for SAHMs who want to do the pitcher method and have their milk safely stored in one container all day.
How do I manage pump parts when out and about?
Pump wipes or a portable washbasin are the way to go. Pump wipes are great for an efficient, quick clean in between sessions, with a deeper clean at the end of the day. A washbasin is good if you want a super thorough soap and water clean. They’re great for travel and situations where you need a sanitary space to clean your parts and you don’t want to use a shared sink.
What are your favorite hacks or tips for using it?
For travel, you can use ice, which can be easily refilled pretty much anywhere. Moms have even used snow to refill the chamber!
For a long work day, you can freeze the inner chamber beforehand for some super strong chilling power. Use whatever cooling method makes sense depending on what you’re facing for the day.
