Why buying gear on Craigslist, Facebook or any other marketplace today is so frustrating?

I set out to buy a pre-loved strider bike for my daughter and here is my experience....

#1.  Craigslist: buying a bike took 86 mins of my day (time I didn't have to spare!!!) and over 3 days to actually get the bike.  This is why I don't use Craigslist !

Open computer and browser, navigate to Craigslist.com, select local area and search for "strider bike" 1 min
Review 10 different posting. All ranging in prices, descriptions, with/without pictures 10 mins
Send emails to 3 listings that look 'legit' and decent quality bike. Ask if still available, if price is negotiable and where could exchange. 10 mins
Wait 24 hours. Get 1 reply - bike is available and would accept $35. Respond by email and say you will take it. Ask where/when to meet 5 mins
Go back and forth a bunch of times with seller and arrange a date/time/location in 2 days 10 mins
2 days later (between naps/dinner) pack up kids in car 10 mins
Drive to meet seller 10 mins
Stop at ATM to get cash 5 mins
Wait fuming as seller is late 5 mins
Text back and forth trying to find each other 5 mins
Give cash - seller has no change, writes check for difference 5 mins
Drive home 10 mins

#2.  So I try buying on LetGo (or Facebook Marketplace).  Thankfully, there is a nice mobile interface and I don't have to deal with scary strangers or email communication.  But guess what?  It still took 86 mins of my day (again, time I didn't have to spare!!!) and over 3 days to actually get the bike!!  SIMPLY NOT WORTH THE BOTHER

#3. So, this is why Good Buy Gear is so desperately needed. What a difference. It took less than 5 mins of my time and I got the bike in 2 days, delivered to my door. Hallelujah!

Open app "strider bike" is shown in curated gear for my daughter 1 min
3 available, only difference is price based on condition. Pick the highest quality 2 mins
Press 'buy' and free 3 day delivery automatically added 1 mins
In 3 days or less the bike is delivered to buyers home. Buyer opens door and says thank you to delivery guy. And bonus, I was able to automatically pay through the app and avoid any awkward exchange of currency :)  10 mins
