Strollers make navigating life with baby easier. With warmer weather approaching and the promise of spending more time outside of the house, it’s the perfect time to invest in the ideal stroller for your family’s needs and price point.
As the leading online marketplace that gives families access to quality brands and products, we know a thing or two about recirculating gently used gear. We thoroughly process every product before it moves to its next family to ensure it's safe, clean and fairly priced. Plus, we sell tons of open box strollers which are in (essentially) new condition.
Wondering which type of stroller will best fit your family's needs? Our Wingmoms have taken the liberty of identifying the top strollers in each category based on functionally and value.
All Purpose Strollers
This is the stroller that will work for trips to the mall and walks around the neighborhood. It will take your baby from infancy through the toddler years. Many connect with a car seat allowing you to transfer a sleeping baby from the car to the stroller. Most have a large storage basket, cup holders and comfy reclining seats. The downside? They tend to be bulky and heavy.
Our Wingmom’s Recommendations:
- UPPAbaby Cruz
- Baby Jogger City Select Lux
- UppaBaby Vista
- Bugaboo Bee
- Joolz Geo 2
- Maxi Cosi Zelia
- SilverCross Wave
Travel Strollers
Designed for portability, these strollers often weigh 15 lbs or less. They fold easily and compactly making them perfect for travel. The downside? Most aren’t safe for babies under 6 months. They also don’t offer many features or much storage.
Our Wingmom’s Recommendation:
Jogging Strollers
Joggers come equip with 3 large inflated wheels, shocks and a sturdy frame. They are great for running (of course) and also good for bumpy terrain like trails and grass. The Downside? Their sturdiness also makes them heavier and the tires will require maintenance like a bike tire.
Our Wingmom’s Recommendation:
Car Seat Carriers
This ultra lightweight option transforms your car seat into a stroller in a snap (literally). They are compact, lightweight and convenient. Many offer features like parent cup holders and a large storage basket. The downside? Once your child outgrows their infant car seat this stroller becomes just another piece of baby gear that will sit in storage until you’re ready to sell it.
Our Wingmom’s Recommendations:
Double Strollers
If you have two under 4 a double stroller is a must. Seating options include side-by-side and tandem, where one child sits behind the other. Most offer lots of great features like dual cup holders, large sun shades and decent sized storage baskets. The Downside? They tend to be BIG.
Our Wingmom’s Recommendations:
Based on your family's day-to-day, you may need more than one stroller. We recommend going with the one you need most, but shopping secondhand may allow you to budget for that second stroller you need for more occasional activities such as travel.
